About me

Krzysztof Muskalski, MD, PhD - combines two passions of ophthalmology and artistic photography, stressing that the eye and the camera have a number of analogies in the construction and functioning. He is looking for inspiration in travel photography, which is an extraordinary challenge for him, because he combines many types of photography. He runs the "Time of Travel” Photo Art Gallery in Częstochowa, Poland, where he presents photography exhibitions from his travels - selected under the media patronage of National Geographic Polska.

He presented his photographs on dozens of author's and collective exhibitions in Poland and abroad. He is a laureate of domestic and foreign photography competitions. He was honored with the title of Artist by the Fédération Internationale de l'Art Photographique (EFIAP/g), Photoclub of the Republic of Poland and the Association of Polish Art Photographers. He is a member of the Royal Photographic Society RPS (UK) and the Photographic Society of America PSA (USA). He is the originator and co-organizer of the International Salons of Artistic Photography for Physicians "PhotoArtMedica" in Częstochowa, Poland. He was awarded the Medal of Merit for Polish Photography in the 100th Anniversary of Regaining Independence

He willingly refers to the former masters of photography, seeking inspiration not only in their photographs but also in their words. The motto of his photographic passion were the words of one of the favorite masters - Ansel Adams: " You don't make a photograph just with a camera. You bring to the act of photography all the pictures you have seen, the books you have read, the music you have heard, the people you have loved."...
